Editorial Transparency
Affiliate Disclosure
Some links on TeslaBlog earn us a referral commission at no extra cost to you. Those commissions help fund our independent Tesla coverage. They never decide what we test, rate, or recommend.
Our Standards
How recommendations work
Where commissions come from
Certain outbound links on TeslaBlog, such as links to chargers, cables, and accessories, are affiliate links. When you buy through one, we may receive a commission from the retailer or program. The price you pay does not change.
Commercial ties never set the verdict
Ratings, pros and cons, and editorial verdicts are decided on the merits. A product that pays us a commission receives no better score than one that does not, and we will say so when a product is a weaker fit.
The criteria for recommending a product
Before we recommend a charging product or accessory, it must solve a clear ownership problem, fit the Tesla models it names, and come from a source we can verify. We check documented specifications, test where practical, and state the trade-offs and who the product is not for.
Your protections as a reader
Affiliate links are labeled where they appear. We do not accept payment for favorable coverage, and we correct errors when we find them. Questions about any recommendation can be sent through our Contact page.
